Why BEACHBODY?
I was introduced to Beachbody during a period of time when I was wondering if I should go back to Weight Watchers.  I am a Lifetime Weight Watchers member and I had managed to gain an additional 10 lbs. above my Lifetime weight.  Mind you, my "Lifetime weight" - a weight that allows me to go to Weight Watchers meetings for free - is at the top of my BMI bracket.  My dream for the past 15 years has been to get to the low end of my BMI weight bracket.  In order to do that, I had a lot more than 10 lbs. to lose - I had about 30 lbs. to lose.

I knew the Weight Watchers program had changed, again, as it seems to every January, and I didn't want to reinvest in new Weight Watchers materials.  As it stands, I have three versions of Weight Watchers materials - three completely different point systems and point calculators - in my home PLUS old Jenny Craig cookbooks and material.  

Before joining Weight Watchers, I was a Jenny Craig member.  Weight loss was easy on Jenny Craig because you purchased your food directly from them.  But, the Jenny Craig program did not teach you how to balance a nutritious diet beyond buying their prepackaged processed food.

This time around, I wanted something different.  I wanted a program that taught me HOW to eat nutritiously and a program that would motivate me to stay on a healthy lifestyle.  One thing I knew for sure - I did not want to drive to weekly meetings any more.  

When I learned about the variety of fitness and nutrition programs that Beachbody had to offer I knew Beachbody might have the product line, tools, and nutrition education that I was looking for.

Beachbody offers a variety of fitness programs, from the hard core and intimidating P90x to fun dance routines such as Rockin' Body.

I am neither a body builder, nor am I a dancer, so the perfect choice for me was the 21 Day Fix.
